ABOUT US

Margaret Belton specializes in Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, and trigger point release. Known for her intuitive sensitivity to subtle needs, Margaret combines massage and stretching techniques to soothe acute and chronic discomfort.

Margaret received her massage training at the San Francisco School of Massage and with local healers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University. She teaches art at the Cedars of Marin Victory Center for adults with developmental disabilities. Margaret is the lead singer in the Patsy Cline tribute band, Patsy Chords.

Katy Dreyfuss is the owner of A Piece of Peace Bodywork Services and Stress Management Seminars. Katy is managing the office and taking care of her toddler son, Tyler. Katy combines deep tissue massage and energetic balancing techniques with foot reflexology, Shiatsu, and relaxation methods. Katy is a certified pregnancy massage therapist and doula. Her unique sessions are tailored to meet your specific needs. The author of The Reflexology Deck (Chronicle Books, 2004) and The Massage Deck (Chronicle Books, 2003). Katy has studied and practiced reflexology, massage, and yoga since her graduation from Yale University in 1988.

Katy worked with Stanford University as the pregnancy and postpartum massage therapist for their clinical study on massage and emotionally depressed mothers (2005 - 2007). Katy served two years on the Immune Enhancement Project's Board of Directors, and five terms as president of the American Massage Therapy Association (Golden Gate Unit).

Gonzalo Landeros offers Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatsu acupressure, and Reiki bodywork. A teacher and mentor at one of San Francisco's most well-established and respected massage therapy schools (National Holistic Institute), Gonzolo provides massage with thorough knowledge, strength, and sensitivity. Since 2003 he has provided the highest quality massage and spa treatments in Bay Area resorts. A UC Berkeley graduate, Gonzolo is fluent in Spanish and French.

Nikki Marini, a professional dancer and certified yoga instructor, offers a wide variety of massage techniques including sports, Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, trigger point, and myofascial release. In addition to her background in dance and yoga, Nikki's experience as a physical therapy aide (University of Michigan Spine Program) strengthens her ability to identify and teach practical therapeutic exercises. Nikki relocated her massage practice from Urban Oasis, Chicago's premier massage spa, to A Piece of Peace.

Nikki earned a B.S. in biology and a B.F.A. in dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before pursuing her massage career, she worked as a microbiologist at Northwestern Medical School. Following her graduation from The Soma Institute, Chicago, Nikki shared her knowledge as a Clinical Massage Therapy Instructor at The Soma Institute.

Denise Michelle Myers provides empowering therapeutic massage using classic Swedish, Structural Integration (Myofascial Release), and Active-Passive stretching techniques with a potent ayurvedic and Thai influence. She creates a relaxing experience in every session, be it a light soothing massage or deeply therapeutic work.

Specializing in perinatal massage, DM is a graduate of the San Francisco School of Massage and Carole Osborne Sheets' Pre and Perinatal certification. 

Bridget Schuler combines knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology with thorough understanding of the body's energetic system. A session with Bridget may include massage, acupuncture, assisted stretches, and the recommendation of Chinese herbs and specific exercises.

A dedicated surfer and student of Wu-shu qigong, Bridget's strength is her sensitivity. She specializes in athletic, prenatal, and pediatric bodywork. She has assisted many professional athletes including climbers, cyclists, football players, and Olympic runners. Bridget has also worked in a seniors' clinic, a pediatric clinic, the San Diego Hospice, and her own private practice.

Bridget earned her massage certification at Connecting Point School of Massage in Telluride, Colorado and her degree of Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, in San Diego, California. During her acupuncture internship Bridget concentrated on orthopedics, working with the athletic department at the University of California San Diego and Acusport, a private clinic specializing in sports medicine. Bridget specialized in orthopedics and gynecology at The University of Chengdu, China.
